The changes in season are times of change, renewal, and rebirth. We enter another phase of the year and we want to enter it with a clean slate.

We air out our rugs, clean out our cupboards, clear up the yard and discard unwanted items that have been collecting dust. We go through all this hard work because we feel better in a bright, clean, uncluttered environment.

Now imagine, if we put that energy into the internal cleaning of our own body. There are ways to optimize our ability to eliminate toxins and one of the most effective ways is the use of Pascoe’s Detox Kit; a two-week, homeopathic combination of Lymphdiaral, Quassia Similiaplex and Juniperus.

1.Make smarter dietary and lifestyle choices that are congruent with who and how you are. All the decisions have to resonate and feel like they can be realistically implemented in your life. Curiosity is the basis of how we learn and so I encourage you to experiment to what suits you best. It’s ok to fail at times – that happens, such is life - trial by error may be the best way to explore what works for you and what doesn’t. Water is the lubricant of life and it helps your body clear toxins out of our body through the kidneys and gut. Given your level of activity throughout the day, you may require anywhere from 1.5 to 3.0 liters of water a day. If you struggle with water intake, consider the following suggestions.

  • Buy a Water bottle that you LOVE to drink from. Ask yourself how much it should hold, where there is a straw or a comfortable mouth piece for you to drink from and if you like cold water, make sure to purchase an insulated bottle.

  • Think of sweet-spots or triggers during the day where you would remember to drink water. Whether that’s after using the bathroom, on breaks, every time you look at your phone or any other repetitive actionable item.

  • Do you like water flavored or bubbled? Make sure it suits your palate.

2.Get 8 hours of deep, uninterrupted sleep. Sleep is the master regulator of health - if you aren’t sleeping then you aren’t healing. A good night’s rest does wonders in helping your body perform at its best, that includes detoxification. 3.We prefer to replace exercise with movement. It’s important to partake in 30 minutes of activity in order to massage the lymphatic tract, your bowels and stimulate sweating which allows toxins to be removed via the skin. Movement may be any activity you enjoy partaking in – dancing, hiking, sports, jogging, swimming, walks in the park or heading to the gym.

4.Remove toxic people from your life. There are relationships and manipulationships – it is important you are aware of the latter and whom in your social circle is holding you back from pursuing detoxification and even more importantly preventing you from making yourself the highest priority.

5.Purchase a dry brush but ensure that it is the perfect one for your comfort. Whether it is the exfoliating gloves, loofah, volcanic stones, or horse brush – it has to feel right for you. Exfoliate yourself once every day prior to, or in the shower. This will prompt blood flow to the surface of your skin and stimulate your lymphatic system. It will remove dead cells and leave you with a glow to your skin.

6.Make sure that you avoid any personal hygiene products that contain environmental toxins. Go through your make up, shampoo, soap, and skin products to confirm that what you are putting on your skin is natural and healthy. The skin is a sponge and it will absorb any toxins placed on it.

7.Eat a varied whole wholefoods diet, high in fiber and antioxidants, plenty of organic fruits and vegetables, focus on seafood instead of meats but if you do, ensure it is organic meats. Please avoid processed foods and refined sugars (ie. High-fructose Corn Syrup). Read labels and if an ingredient doesn’t make sense, it’s best to avoid. With respect to a healthy diet, the early bird catches the worm. Plan your meals ahead of time so you don’t find yourself at a loss when you are hungry. This will prevent any erroneous choices in your nutritional intake and will make the process easy and comfortable.

8.Avoid any refined sugars, tobacco, coffee, marijuana, recreational drugs and alcohol.
